SHDF is working with women and youth in 40 districts throughout Zimbabwe organized in nearly 4 000 savings clubs of 10 - 15 members each. These clubs are trained on how to save money, financial literacy and effective group management.
SHDF increases the knowledge and skills of 40 000 women and youth through a variety of capacity building activities such as; skills exchange visits; workshops; leadership and mentorship; business management; constitutional literacy; gender and women's rights.
SHDF strengthens the adaptive capacity and resilience of 40 000 women and youth to reduce the effects of disasters and hazards on their households.
